Doncaster Rovers have a clear picture of their squad for the rest of the year now the summer transfer window has closed, with 25 permanent players under contract. Manager Grant McCann can now focus on improving the team's league position, which currently stands at 21st in League One with six points from seven games.
Grant McCann said: "It’s now been more than three weeks since the summer transfer window slammed shut, meaning Grant McCann has a clear idea of the Doncaster Rovers squad that he has to work with between now and the end of the calendar year as he aims to build on last season’s midtable finish."
The club made seven permanent additions over the summer, including converting Josh Clarke's loan from Patrick Thistle after his competitive debut against Middlesbrough. Key to the squad's stability is captain Owen Bailey, who was rewarded with a contract extension following his 16-goal campaign last term. The full list of contract expiry dates for every permanent player is now available for supporters to view.
Rovers will look to build on their recent 2-0 away win at Peterborough, where Alfie May and Isaac Hutchinson scored, as they prepare for their next challenge. The senior squad details are also available on the official squad list.
